The Oberon Golf Course was opened in 1958. Today the course consists of 18 holes, with grass greens and plenty of variety.

This picturesque course offers many challenges, not the least of which is its hilly terrain. Golfers will be delighted by natural attractions such as Lake Oberon, kangaroos and abundant birdlife. For men the scratch rating is 113 and par is 68, for women the scratch rating is 115 and par is 72, The course measures 5582 metres for the white markers and 5209 metres for the red markers.

The women’s 18 hole competition is held on Wednesday. 9.00 am start September –May and 9.30 am start June – August. The men’s 18 hole competition is held on Saturday from about 10.00 am. Visitors with a golf handicap are welcome to play in competitions. On Thursday there is a 12 hole mixed social competition starting at midday – beginners are welcome.

Casual fees are $25 for 18 holes, or $15 for 9 holes. Juniors pay half these fees.
